Adam trained at a mid-sized firm based in Manchester, prior to the cloud accounting ‘Boom!’. In 2018 Adam left Manchester and became a Chartered Accountant through the ICAEW. His next step was into a management role within a small cloud accounting firm based in Salford. This primary role included client focused tax enquiries, cloud accountancy, general accountancy & business advisory.

Adam is our tech & business expert, ensuring our clients use the best technology for their business & its finance function, along with being able to see through the figures to provide our clients with business focused advice.  For his sins, he is a massive Preston North End fan, often travelling up & down the country to see them lose!

Luke Adler accountant based in manchester


Luke began his accountancy career in 2013 at a mid-sized firm in Manchester City Centre before moving in to a managerial role at a cloud-based firm on Media City in 2018. Luke takes pride in building strong working relationships with clients, with a focus on being proactive with advice and always being approachable.

I am a father of two, soon to be three. Someone send help! I am a United fan and all round sport enthusiast. When I’m not chasing after the kids (and missus), can be found propping up a bar with the lads.



James Miller manchester payroll expert


James started his career in practice for a six-partner firm before moving to a top 20 firm. Specialising in the Anglo Israeli and Tech Sector. After being head hunted by one of his clients, he moved into Industry working for a variety of firms up to a Nasdaq quoted company holding positions of Financial Controller and Finance Director.

With the responsibility for the finance function but also building these businesses. James has developed and delivered business growth by developing markets and using technology to deliver stepped change to these businesses.

During this time payroll and HR have always been a key part of his roles, bringing the function in house after being dissatisfied with the service of others providing payroll services, has given him a unique insight into both sides of the fence. He also worked for an Accountancy network supporting accountants in the development of their businesses and addressing the issues they come across every day, allowing him to understand the real issues that affect practices.

Payroll and its direct impact on clients and employees have become a rewarding part of his career where he can see the difference, he makes every day.

James is a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals and holds a number of payroll qualifications including the Foundation in Payroll Management Degree. Whilst also possessing a working knowledge of accountancy practices and the accounts function.
